Scrum-half Hardy replaces injured Faletau - Wales update squad for Rugby World Cup 2023
Head coach Warren Gatland has called up scrum-half Kieran Hardy to replace number-eight Taulupe Faletau, who broke his arm in the Pool C game against Georgia on Saturday, in the Wales squad for Rugby World Cup 2023.
Gatland said: “We feel we have a number of options in the back row at the moment, so we’ve decided to call up Kieran to give us extra cover at scrum-half and to take some pressure off from a training perspective.”
