Campus 2023
Major international sporting events must look to tomorrow, and to future generations. For this reason, France 2023 has created Campus 2023, an Apprentice Training Centre involving 1200 tutors and apprenticeship masters to support the future generations of sport, tourism and security professionals in France.
In total, more than 2 000 young people between the ages of 18 and 30, men and women in equal numbers, will take advantage of the organisation of Rugby World Cup France 2023 to train for careers in sport, tourism and security management. Campus 2023 aims to create a legacy to the sporting movement that will continue after 2023 and to ensure that the jobs created for these young people will endure after Rugby World Cup.
«With Campus 2023, a team is born: the team of the future, one that transmits strong values of hard-work, appreciation and respect. These apprentices lead the path for a new generation of professionals, and represent the legacy that we want to leave to the sport world and to our society after Rugby World Cup France 2023.»
Frédéric MICHALAK, Ambassador of Campus 2023
THE 3 TRAINING STREAMS:
Sport formation:
The 2000 apprentices following the sport formations are working in sport structures -in or outside the rugby world- throughout all the territory and will have the opportunity to be a part of immersive courses given before and during Rugby World Cup 2023.
Security formation:
The recruitment projection for this formation is of 500 apprentices, aged between 18 and 30. The first part of their work-study contract will be realized in security organizations, then in the host venues of Rugby World Cup 2023.
Tourism formation:
A tourism formation opened its doors to 400 apprentices, throughout France. They will first work in tourism structures to insure the development of national attractivity and propose tourism offers in the spirit of Rugby World Cup 2023.
