Koesio and its #SustainableTeam become Official Supporters of Rugby World Cup France 2023
This commitment is in line with the group's CSR initiatives and its presence throughout France, and involves making reconditioned printing equipment available to the different venues and the Organising Committee teams.
HAVING A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIETY: A COMMON OBJECTIVE
Koesio, which shares the societal and environmental commitments made by the France 2023 Organising Committee, wanted to join the event and provide the necessary printing equipment to all the operational teams through equipment reconditioned by the Koesio teams at the Eole site in Valence. After the tournament, the machines will be offered to local rugby clubs, in accordance with the strong legacy commitments made by France 2023.
For its part, Koesio has been aware, since its formation 30 years ago, of its responsibility towards the territory, society and the planet, and is therefore multiplying its CSR actions and innovations in this area: creation of a printing equipment reconditioning site, launch of the Koesio foundation to finance projects carried out by employees, certification as a "Company where it's great to work" by the Great Place To Work Institute, reduction of the company's carbon footprint, etc.
FRANCE 2023 AND KOESIO: LOCAL ACTORS, INVOLVED IN THE TERRITORIES
With less than a year and a half to go before Rugby World Cup 2023 kicks off, the France 2023 Rugby Tour will travel to more than 50 cities across the country from July - November 2022 to celebrate the event. This is a great opportunity for Koesio to mobilise its 180 agencies throughout the country and to launch the #SustainableTeam adventure!
Gilles PERROT, Koesio General Manager, said: “Koesio is very attached to its dense territorial network, a guarantee of our close relationship with our customers and partners. It is this presence on the ground, unique for a numerical services company, which guarantees the perfect reactivity of our teams daily and the total availability of our customer service, which is entirely internalised.
“Koesio is also committed to taking concrete and widespread action in its territory, which is why, in each of the regions where we are established, we support various local associations and sports clubs."
Pieric BRENIER, Koesio President, said: “At Koesio, we are aligned with the values of rugby: team spirit, solidarity, passion, respect. These are essential qualities in a team, in sport as in business. But above all we adhere 100 per cent to the responsible vision of the organisers of this competition. CSR has been in our DNA since the creation of the company. This collaboration is an opportunity to show it once again and to present ourselves as the #SustainableTeam Koesio. Because we are sustainable in our relationship with our employees, with our customers and partners, and we do our best to be sustainable with the territory and the planet.”
Claude ATCHER, France 2023 CEO, said: “More than words, we want to demonstrate that an international sporting event such as Rugby World Cup can play a concrete role in addressing the social and environmental issues of today and tomorrow. With concrete commitments like Koesio's, which has put proximity and responsibility at the heart of its purpose, we will fulfill our ambition to organise a competition with a positive impact!”
