Join Team 2023, Rugby World Cup 2023's Volunteer Programme
Rugby World Cup 2023’s Volunteers Programme “Team 2023” is now open to the general public. Future members of Team 2023 will live a unique experience and play a crucial role at the heart of the 10th Rugby World Cup, from 8 September to 28 October, 2023.
France 2023 opened its Volunteers Programme on Monday, 7 March to find the faces and smiles of the next men’s Rugby World Cup. Team 2023 will be an integral and crucial part of the adventure throughout the 10 host cities of the competition.
Volunteers will be involved in every part of the event including public welcome, tournament’s services, accreditations, communication and marketing activities, media operations and the tournament’s sports presentation. Three training phases will be organised before Rugby World Cup 2023 kicks off to ensure volunteers are prepared for the event.
France 2023’s Volunteers Programme will be opened to both French and international applicants, of all ages and backgrounds, including people with disabilities. Those selected to join Team 2023 will be informed on September 2022. Reservists will be announced at the same time.
HOW TO JOIN TEAM 2023?
People interested in joining Team 2023 should submit their application on volontaires.france2023.rugby, the dedicated platform developed in partnership with Capgemini, a RWC 2023 Worldwide Partner.
Three requirements will be taken into consideration for selection: applicants will need to be 18 years-old or older by 1 January, 2023, to be fluent in French, and to be available during the entire competition, from 8 September to 28 October 2023. Motivation, enthusiasm and team-spirit are major plus-points for anyone applying. Previous volunteer experience is helpful but is not required.
